Another day at the AlphaSights office in Central London conducting business headshots for their new and current staff members.
Back in January this year, just a few weeks before the business changing lockdowns that COVID-19 brought, we were up in london visiting clients Alphasights and carrying out their scheduled business portraiture and business headshots photography. The importance of solid professional portraiture for their business communications from Website to Email, having the face of who they are talking to making it more personal, and building a professional relationship with someone who you might only speak to on the phone, or email.
Now, with COVID-19 still meaning that distance working, working from home, and remote / split shift working environments are becoming the norm… The dependancy on robust and effective communication via the telephone, email, and messenger are even more important, and building those relationships are key when you’re unable to meet in person.
With a 4AM start loading up and heading eastward along the M4 into London and unloading, rigging and being ready to start photographing business headshots by 9AM in central london, we would then work though the day in ten to fifteen minute blocks for each person to be photographed in our newly rigged studio in the office.
Once everyone has been captured through the lens, its de rig time and load up the car to get us back to the editing desk to begin the second half of the workload of cropping, colour correcting and airbrushing the image.
One of the services we offer, is our portable portrait studio that we can get to just about anywhere in the United Kingdom. The benefits of this is that we can produce stunning consistent results with little downtime and interruption for your business.
As long as we have power and an area big enough to set up in, we can produce for you, your own professional studio in your place of work. Allowing us time with your staff to help achieve portraits your business can use for your website, office360 contact card, LinkedIn profiles and just about anything else you might need to have a professional, clean and presentable image of your staff.
“It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.”
