Hello, and welcome to this beautiful sunny Easter weekend spent exploring the north coast 500 – a scenic road trip through Scotland! I decided to take a drive up the north coast of Scotland and take in the stunning views, the fresh air and the tranquility that comes with the remoteness of the area.

The roads meandered around the coast, with glimpses of stunning vistas at every turn – giant cliffs standing proud against the blue sea, stunning sunrises and sunsets, rolling hills and small villages huddled against the elements. I made sure to stop as often as I could to take some incredible photos – using both Canon and DJI to capture the raw beauty of Scotland at its best.

I often got lost in the beauty of the coastline, and very soon in to our trip, started to appreciate the silence and calm. The combination of fresh air and sunshine made me feel so alive, and with every mile I drove, I was amazed at how beautiful Scotland is.

stopping in several villages to visit local cafes, picking up local food and drinks. Meeting the locals who live in this part of Scotland was a real treat, as I heard stories of past days, old ways of living, and the impact of a changing landscape on the people that live here.

All too soon, the weekend was over, but will never forget this incredible experience. The North Coast 500 is a stunning road that every roadtrip enthusiast should visit – take in the views, meet the locals, and really understand what Scotland is all about!
