A personal video production project that started the idea of The Digital Nomadic. Travelling on the West Coast highway of the Scottish Highlands from Durness to Oban, utilising the Canon 7D and 5D mkII to create a beautiful journey of moving images.
In 2013 we headed to the far north west of the Scottish highlands in a curious trip to see what we would find. No real agenda and with the pretence to just carry out stills photography. While there, we decided to try out the video capabilities of the Canon 5D and the 7D… While filming we knew the footage was stunning and had so much potential,
We were most certainly thrilled to see the results once back home and we were indeed proven correct. Travelling the north coast of Scotland is our escape time away from the military and defence photography work… Out in the Highlands, its a sense of escaping and finding inner peace.
